![]() ![]() 05.16.06 in a clear sign that the delicate art of music supervision finally is beginning to receive the recognition it has long deserved, amanda scheer-demme, best known around town as club promoter extraordinaire and veteran music supervisior is the latest Hollywood icon to join forces with indie 103.1 a popular Los Angeles alternative-rock station known for its iconoclastic attitude, eclectic playlist and decidedly music-centric programs hosted by celebrity dj’s, the station recently began devoting three minutes of its daily airtime to scheer-demme, a veteran music supervisor. "the goal of ‘the reel minute’ is to show how movies and music influence each other and how important they are to each other," scheer-demme says. "hopefully, we can educate people about how these things tie together.
